Linnita Hosten Exposes College Truths and Strategies During Book Signing

Two-time author shares how to maximize the college experience with your career in mind

On Saturday, September 30th, Author and Empowerment Speaker Linnita Hosten held a book signing and launch party for her second book, The College Strategy: How Ambitious Students Create Workplace Value on Campus.

The book signing was held in the heart of Washington, D.C., at the newly-rebranded Ancient Rivers. Guests were able to mix and mingle and enjoy bites and treats, while having their book signed by Linnita. The event was hosted by up-and-coming radio host, Joy Carter, who moderated the question and answer period.

Linnita provided full transparency and shared her personal college and “life after college” experiences. She also explained the purpose behind writing her second book and why she believed her book provided answers to questions surrounding the current and future value of higher education in the United States.

At the close of the event, Linnita talked about the next steps for her brand and how she plans to continue to educate and motivate students, and their supporters, on the importance of having a college strategy.
