{Event Recap} Black Girls Do: Give Back!
On Sunday, February 19th, our client Black Girls Do, hosted their first event for 2017! Black Girls Do is an organization that aims to redefine the perception of who black women are and what they are about. Black Girls Do: Give Back was held at a fashion and trendy boutique, The Chic Shack.
Black Girls Do: Give Back was a monetary and clothing drive, in support of non-profit Arnold Place. Arnold Place provides support to homeless young ladies, ages 13-22, that are either pregnant, affected by HIV/AIDS, or survivors of sex-trafficking.
Guests stopped by to donate money and drop off gently-used clothing. To express our gratitude, all guests received 15% off a purchase from The Chic Shack!
LaKeta Jackees of DFF & Associates showcased fashion looks and 2017 trends.
Black Girls Do was able to raise $300 and 423 pounds of clothes in support of Arnold Place!
